It looks to me like one of many, ordinary currently made Chinese guitars. (Jay Turner, Barracuda, ) There are so many different names out there nowadays. That is likely why the name is scratched out.
( You wouldnt scratch out an Ibanez logo, but you'd scratch out Harley Benton! ) Nothing about that looks vintage to me?

Some of these guitars aren't bad for the money, so no worries there. But I would not say that is a old guitar....

Beautiful little beastie!! For about 125 USD, I too would have jumped on it. I don't, however, think it's Japanese or even Korean. I would think Chinese, and relatively modern. Think Jay Turser, Sanitoga, one of the modern brands. But what matters is, if you love it. That's the important thing! Enjoy it, and play the hell out of it ! :dude:

Those bridge posts would usually point towards China, but if it’s not a recent thing, who knows? It’s definitely interesting looking. At the end of the day you haven’t spent much to acquire something that you could really get some value from, regardless of where it was built :) How does it play?

I was surprised to find 70’s guitars with those “metric” bridge posts.
My 88’ish Burny had studs in wood. I figured everything pre 80’s was studs in wood, but apparently the “metric Nashville” (for lack of a better description) goes back to the 70’s in some cases.
