Hey fellow MLPer's I' thinking of doing a refin to my 2011 R8 plain top iced tea burst and I'm thinking I'd like to go to a lemon burst? Would love to see some of your plain top lemon bursts to see what mine might look like after the refin?? Thanks in advance!

R8 is a '58 reissue, R9 is a '59 reissue. R4 would be a '54 reissue, R7 a '57 reissue and so on and so forth.

Thanks thats what I thought, so whats R0? 1960?

I'm guessing these will all be custom shop models,

Yes, an R0 would be a '60 reissue. The V1 V2 & V3 refers to the necks on an R0, a V1 would be the thickest (like a '57 or '58), V2 a little thinner ('59-ish) and V3 is the thinnest which most associate with a '60.

The 2 colors on the 2002 - 2009 Guitar Center “G0” reissue we’re Tak Burst and Darkburst. So they are not Lemonburst. Tak Burst is more or an orange Iced Tea like the guitars posted in this thread.

I always liked this color lemon. This was strickly on RO's I believe. I am currently looking for a few guitars and stumbled onto an R0. They used to be a great bargain, Not anymore prices on everything are up there. Nice guitar brother and Merry Christmas

This one is definitely a G0 and this color (Tak Burst as Mark correctly points out--although Gibson has this guitar listed as "Lemon Burst" according to their Customer Service) was available through 2009.
