Pickups Question

Seems like every time someone buys an Epi Lp they immediately gut it and swap out all the hardware.


So the new(ish) Epiphone Probucker pickups...
Opinions?

FWIW, I do the same thing with my Gibson; especially the cheesy pot-metal bridge & tailpiece.


I hear people like those particular pups, though...

They're usable pickups. But I wouldn't gig with them longer than need be. Not a lot of articulation, and bright as hell. Pretty thin when compared to other pups.
