Lets just say I was crazy enough to spend $800 (I am not) on PUs on a guitar I dont need to have made:

How would you know if your getting the real deal? I am guessing the owner isnt going to crack it open for you. I am in driving distance but besides going to a lot of Tab Benoit shows how would you tell the real deal from some recovered aged Lollars.
Seems like an an annoying PU to fake with the special parts that would be needed but I will say one of the two looks fishy to me(10.79k). Could be someone clean/polished it.
