It could be a mistake I suppose, but I've owned this guitar for 6 months now and still just don't feel 'attached' to it... It's a love/hate thing...I vote for the pickguard.
I'm surprised you haven't been successful trading your LP for a PRS, but I guess I'm equally surprised you're even trading an LP for a PRS.
I recently bought a Squier CV50 and tend to grab it before the Les Paul, there is just something not right about that...
I like the way you think, really. =PBoth.
I do agree this is a good rule, this top just doesn't have as much flame as I wish it did, so I'm not really covering up much.Solid colors = on
Bursts = off
I tried, no one wanted to trade for a PRS.Do whatever you want.
No holes have been drilled, it's just sitting there for the pic. I'd probably have more luck if I could get on one of the PRS forums, but one is awaiting approval (for over a week now) and the other won't allow posting if you aren't a premium member. Not saying I wont become a premium member at a later date, but I don't want to shell out $50 just to post a feeler that might amount to nothing.I'm not all that surprised you haven't been able to trade. PRS makes a nice guitar and their necks feel way different than a Gibson. I would say pickguard off, except, since the hole has been drilled the empty hole would drive me nuts.
I never even considered this, are you serious or just yanking my chain?No Pickguard, better resonance!
Oh shit, is this going to turn into one of those threads?
