so i have the Epi Les Paul Standard HB and i have the regular creamy looking pick guard but im looking for a new color..something funky that would stand out.

like for example the colors on the SG Eric Clapton used back in his days..or maybe something you wouldn't see on a normal LP..any websites with crazy looking pick guards? EBay is no help cause i went threw that list.

Good luck with your search, man.

The only place selling pickguards for Epis that I know is this one. I think you'd have to contact them, though, since they don't have pickguards for Epi LPs listed.

You could also try these, but since they state that their pickguards are for Gibson LPs you'd have to make them fit.

Nope, Gibson parts don't fit on Epis. Gibson parts are imperial and Epiphone parts are metric.
The space between the pickup rings on Epis is smaller, so that a Gibson pickguard won't fit between the rings.
I'm not sure but the screw placement could also be different.

Check out this site Guitar Parts they have all sorts of cool pick guards for Gibsons, Epi's and Strats with lots of custom graphics. Or they can even put your own designs on a pick guard. I am ordering a set for my Epi 56 Gold Top. But I have to send them my pick guard since they don't have a stock one cut for the P90 pickups. They will do this for no extra charge. I'm going with a fifties pin up girl set that includes a full set of plates and switch ring for $45.95. Should make that Gold top look really sexeh!

Now that is a great link. Thanks very much. I was all set to buy a pick guard, but their store is being moved, and they won't be shipping until July 1st.

Making a Gibson pickguard fit an Epi is not that hard. I did it and it looks good. You just have to file the offending places down a bit until everything fits perfect.

That was my point; even some Gibson PGs won't fit other Gibsons without modification. I just installed a Gibson Les Paul Custom pickguard on my Orville Custom, and I had to do some sanding of the cutaways.

D'oh! I guess I missed the 'even' in your other post, it gives it a totally different meaning.

That's okay....I don't get worked up over misunderstandings on the web. Sometimes we get stuff figured out better by having disagreements.
