Phase wiring push/pull on a volume pot?

I can find a thousand diagrams for wiring push/pull DPDT phase reverse on a Tone pot, but none for a Volume pot.

My goal: replace one of my single coil Volume controls with a push/pull so that pushed in it controls volume for that pickup in phase; pulled out it controls volume for that pickup but in reverse phase (to the other single coil pickup).

This with a standard 3-way LP switch (neck/both in or out of phase depending upon that push-pull/bridge).

Many thanks for showing the way!

The pot you use is immaterial. If you treat the switch section as separate to the rest of the wiring you can just transfer the physical location of that to the other pot.

Thanks. Got it, i think! So basically the switch is interposed between the pickup and the pot so that the hot and ground output of the switch gets connected to the pot as if it were coming directly from the pickup?

Any difference between audio and linear tapering for this downstream-from-a-DPDT application?
