We all know that cats and dogs make fine pets. But many people these days have a liking for these as well. What do you think? Have one? Want one?

I have no desire to own one.
I'd hold one or whatever, but I'm good with the dog.

They're actually very calm and docile creatures. They only bite if threatened, and it's like a bee sting. And they can live as long as thirty years.

Sounds like an opportunity to open up a gay exotic pet business.

It's either that, or a bunch of older females eventually, because after sex the female eats the male if he doesn't get away on time. So, no time for a cigarette and some small talk. They don't like them to kiss and tell I guess.

Spiders are awesome. I actually suffered from a mild case of arachnophobia for the longest time, er, or at least I think I did, but all the while I found spiders to be the most fascinating creatures

I moved from the city to the country a few years back, and well, thanks to accidental immersion therapy, I got cured real quick:laugh2: Seriously, I've seen it all, big and small

There are a couple little dudes that live on my bathroom sink that I'm simpatico with, in fact

My boy Frankie Oliver knows a lot about this stuff

I always thought if a nice smart-ish mammal like a cat does not really care about the owner, how is it possible for a non-mammal to really bond with a human.

This is the thought experiment I do when choosing pets. If the animal in question was to enlarge by a sizable amount, would it eat you. If yes, then there is a problem because the "pet" is just waiting until you are weak. Where I come from we do not call that a pet, but a predator.
