i read in interview where he was saying he thought LPs were beautiful and special, and that it bothered him to see people mistreating them. I think he was talking about players who use LPs for shredding or hard rock or whatever. It sounded like he was in reverence of the Les Paul. I discovered a FM forum online, and theres a person who claims to be a neice of Peter (i dont doubt the claim) and she said that he has 100+ guitars in his possession and about half stay in storage. Im sure he has (or could have if he wanted to) all sorts of amazing guitars. he wouldnt be the only player to make a name for themselves in the 60s on a LP, then stopped playing them
