I picked this one up last summer and just finally got around to messing with it a few weeks back. This thing will buckle the sub floor if you crank it! Only problem, The normal input isn't working for some reason, Only the Auto-Mix.
Had a broken fuse holder so fixed that minor thing and pushed it hard today.
Loud as hell great cleans and nice mid range dirt.
Nothing over the top but pretty sweet drive and push.Very southern rock type tone.
The best inputs are either series or parallel more thump to be had.
Best drive is 2 on the effects gain side and 8 on the normal gain side.Nice fluid meaty fat OD.
Did some serial number research and this one is a 75.
Good grab Stray.
Yes, loud as sh*t, but I would differ and say you need the volume to get the right tone.
Knowing your preferences this would be a good flipper, get it serviced and hang on a little.
She will pay off.
Cyg I'm going to pull the RCA's out and get them checked out and put them up or two in my Marshall JCM 900 and keep two back.
Find some other tubes to stick in it and flip it at the Cinci Ohio show
Oh Cyg I found it sounded pretty decent set that way.As far as a bedroom level.Between 0 and 1 it sounded pretty good its gets better around 2 set that way but 2 is quite a bit over bedroom level.
