Peavey Classic 30 question?

Hey guys, I am a new father of a Gibson Les Paul, my first and i am in love, but I have a Peavey classic 30 combo that i love also but i want to take the amp out and make it a just a head and use a 2x12 cab, and ideas how to do this, is there a company that makes a empy head cabinets that i could just buy? i just dont want to put a combo amp on top of a cabinet, i like the head and cab look. thanks in advance

You're better off selling your C30 combo and buying a C30 head - you won't be out any money, and may come out ahead (as opposed to buying a head cabinet, plus tolex, plus labor, and then having a speaker and ampless combo cab).

Just my two cents.

For what it worth, you can push a cab plus the combo 12" at the same time - I've run a 4x10 Classic cab and the internal 12" on many occasions.
