Peavey Classic 20 Mini + $100 for Orange OR15?

I contacted the place I bought my Peavey Classic 20 Mini from, they said I could exchange it +$100 for the Orange OR15 Head.

I already have the Peavey 6505 MH and an EVH 5150 III 50w Head, the Classic 20 is pretty similar to the 6505 MH.

The Orange would be a different sound and feel.

I like the Peavey Classic 20, but not as much as my 6505MH.

Should I pull the trigger on it?

Figure the Peavey cost $499.99 new and the Orange costs $600.00 - $700.00 new, you won't be losing anything. If you got the Peavey for less then you're making out very well.

The only question is, will you like the Orange? I like mine, but that doesn't answer the question.

I'd move on that. IMO, the Orange will hold it's value much better. You already have the Peavey tone in the other amp.

I'd do it, like you said the 6505 can probably do the classic tones without much work, and you'll get another flavor of amp to add to your arsenal

I played one at GC recently, it did not blow me away, but every time I hear one on youtube I love it?

The C20 is a looser gain than the 6505 and EVH I have, I really like it.
Tough decision.

That was what I was thinking, the 6505 can do classic, not quite as well as the C20, but it can do it. The variety and trying something new was what appealed to me.

I am not sure I am going to do it for a reason that is crazy.
If you look at my set-up in the pic, it fits perfectly, the Orange is 2" wider, it won't fit.
I still might buy one, but I don't think I will ditch the Classic 20.

Hmmmm....
I can always return the EVH, but the OR15 and pocket $400.:)

Maybe a tiny terror or dual terror in the headcabs would fit there

Not my style, had the TT before

The Dark Terror is your baby. I have played the OR15 and the Dark Terror. Both are voiced close and both have that important (to me) FX loop
