absolutely, anyone here on this forum should have a copy of this book. It's pretty easy to find. I think I ordered mine off Amazon, not sure if it's still available there but I have seen it on ebay too. All you have to do is google BOTB or the full name, I'm sure you won't have any problem getting one. Seems like it sells for under $30 US. A great price IMO, especially if you can get Pearly signed by ZZ Top!!!

It's kinda odd that a book like that, so American.... was written by a Japanese guy. I'm not knocking it mind you, just thinking out loud "Why didn't someone here in the States do that!" I need to order some more books myself, I've got the 50 years of Gibson or something like that, also very interesting but is really broad coverage but still a great read. I also have a very special copy of "Les Paul In His Own Words". It's a very rare and limited edition hardback that was signed and numbered by Les Paul himself. I have a printers proof copy that's not numbered but is hand signed by Les, I'll treasure that book as long as I live and will hand it down to my son/grandson. I had heard there was a paperback coming out but haven't seen it, it was supposed to be much cheaper than the hardback which was a few hundred bucks each.

Also, makes me think about the American guitar market, Gibson, Fender, Martin and others are all top recognized brands. However when you think amps, the Marshalls comes to mind and we all know that's British. I know a lot of folks use Fender amps but for rock and roll there's really nothing like a Marshall with a Les Paul plugged into her.
