Does anyone know someone, or yourselves, that have had paypal suspend your account and freeze your funds?

Our friend, an Argentine living in India, has had her account frozen. She has a USA citi checking account, but insisted they need her SS number. Obviously she does not have a Social Security account.

How in the hell does one fix their paypal account once they've gotten themselves on paypals "bad side?"

She sells jewellery. Other than setting up her business webpage with cc input - which I advise her not to do, extremely computer illiterate - paypal is necessary for her success.


Also, once the freeze is lifted, is everything okeydokey again?

I believe non business paypal accounts have limits.. Could she be going over her monetary limits?

I've read posts on the internet where they suspend you if you don't have a certain amount of ebay sales. She's does high end stuff that doesn't belong on ebay.
