Paul Reed Smith CU-22 – Employee Model – Private Stock

1999 Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 – Employee Model – ONE-OFF

This is a very rare, very unique PRS, once owned and played by Howard Leese of Heart / Paul Rodgers / Bad Company fame. COA is available.

This was assembled by the Private Stock team and signed by PRSH. Made for an employee by the name of Paul Gill (of whom I haven't been able to track down a lot of information)

One could only imagine how much it would cost to have the Private Stock team re-create such a fine instrument. It HAS been played, but it is still a 9.5/10 condition, with no major fretwear, no dings or scratches or scars.

Comes with the Original Hardshell case that has a few Paul Rodgers / Heart all access passes on it. THESE CAN EASILY BE REMOVED.

• Body – One-piece Ribbon Honduran Mahogany with amazing chatoyance
• Top – Marked a “10 Top”, but easily an Artist Grade or Private Stock top
• Neck – Wide Fat
• Number of Frets – 22
• Neck Wood – Ribbon Honduran Mahogany
• Fretboard Wood – Ebony
• Fretboard Inlays – Turquoise Birds
• Bridge – PRS Hardtail
• Headstock Inlay – Ebony with Turquoise bound TRC and Signature
• Tuners – McCarty tuners with Ebony buttons
• Hardware Type – Nickel
• Treble Pickup – McCarty
• Bass Pickup – McCarty
• Pickup Switching – 3-Way Toggle with Push / Pull for Coil Splitting
• Top Option – 10-top Flame
• Special – Bone nut (very rare on a PRS)
• All Case Candy is included from 1999
• Professionally set up and re-strung with PRS 10 – 46 Strings

This is a VERY rare and absolutely STUNNING guitar that plays wonderfully and sounds spectacular.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I'm only selling because I need the money.

$3500 + shipping.

Thank you.

Very pretty inlays. I love my CU22, it has a solid rosewood neck. GLWTS

Bump for a beautiful PRS.

I am certain that is a stellar sounding and playing guitar. I wish I had the money for it.

Best wishes for a quick sale.
