I am getting there. The top I thought I would have trouble went fine and this one I though would be no problem and I had a slight hiccup. Almost ready for a pic though. :fingersx:

Yep, I dig that immensely.

BTW the amount of overspray flaking off your booth there is hysterical!

Thanks.

Yeah I need to get rid of the overspray. :D The exhaust fan is to the right, so the overspray hits the back wall and then goes out. Every once in a while I hit it with a blow gun to knock off the loose stuff. I really need to redo my booth. I'll put it on my list if stuff to do when I sober up after my week off after the Montreal Show. :laugh2:

:wow: Oh... My.. :shock::applause:

Did you use the dye, wipe, sand-back technique?(aka PRS Style)

Nope, this is just diluted dye straight onto the wood. The figure in this redwood has such a contrast the sandback was not needed.

Great work man! Mind if I use that on my Redwood build? It'll probably be another year til I get to finishing it though. :laugh2:

Looking GREAT Dan! Better than the RW I'll be bringing I think!

Spanish Cedar or Mahogany? Looks like SC to me.

Thanks Doug. This is my big one so I am going all out on it. Its Old Growth Honduran, but my filler kept the wood a lighter shade than normal. Its a tad darker in person.

I am going all out on this one. Its getting a Graphtech Piezo system, a ToneStyler tone circuit, Alessandro pots and a pair of my Low Wind Hums. Going to do maple rings as well to pull the whole thing together. I was originally going to do an ebony pickguard, but I can't bring myself to cover any more of that top than I need to. :D

Thanks. There is really nothing like a nice redwood top. A friend of mine sent me an email today. He said I should only do Jr's and Redwood guitars. :laugh2: :laugh2:
