P90 tele

I bought a used bare knuckle P90 to try in the R6 after hearing a few examples on you tube, guy threw in a mint tele guard. so i found a home for the gibson one:

It took me a minute to realize the pic was two pickguards on top of each other .

I was looking at it like ‘wtf kind of pickup is the size of a p90, has a tele coil, I’m guessing? and a mop face’???

haha, not fitted yet, just put the bare knuckle in the R6, must say underwhelmed, deffo difference in the freq response, but no spanky. although i have spent most of last two days dialling rig into my page sound for the R0 and its T-Top, so probably not a fair fight at mo.

BKP have several different types of P90 - which did you get? The nantucket has the punchy/tight low end of an alnico five magnet. It sounds like a bigger, tighter, tele pickup that can get nasty cranked up.
