P90 Madness!

Somehow over time I have acquired a number of very cool P90 Gibsons. Lately I’ve been really loving playing these and have been enjoying their unique grit and bite. The gold top has been my favorite lately but they all come in and out of rotation

Anybody else having a love affair with their P90 Gibsons? Show us what you got!

Only have two Gibsons with P-90s. And one Epi with a P-100, and that Squier in the pic with a Gibson P-90.

it will have two lollar P90's when i get the right pick guard

but i really like just the one ....it does what i need..

If i had your Gibson P90 collection id have much more of a love affair
I have a Special Ive been in love with for years
Recently i picked up a DC Junior and ive notice to the sound i like i have to push the tubes
I mean the guitar sounds amazing when the amp is loud but its not the bedroom level player my old special is
To get the dynamics i enjoy its gota be turned up
Maybe its me but it doesn’t feel right unless its shaken the windows

Yep lurv my '13 R6...a good fat neck.........and put some '52 P90s in her earlier this year before the lockdowns that I got from Eric Ernest here. Such a clear resonant LP and I think better than a humbucker sound especially in the neck pup.

Here’s a sleeper - Squire J Mascis Jazzmaster. The pickups in this instrument are essentially P90s. Same construction, magnet placement, adjustable pole pieces etc. very sweet sounding guitar...
