Had this a while now but hav never uploaded any pics so here we go.
Greg Marin cc15 #067
8lbs15oz
Neck profile very similar to my Shanks but a touch smaller in the hand at the first few frets.
This has the best treble pup sound of any Lester I've ever had. Aggressive but really sweet. Reads 7.85k.
The front custombucker is in the case as although it sounded good I felt it was a touch hot for this particular guitar in the neck position. It reads 8.5k. I'm not big on changing pups but I just wanted a touch more clarity so I snapped up a used mule from eBay that reads 6.9k. Absolutely did the trick. This thing sings like an angel and is my gigging guitar at the moment. Biting in the treble honky in the mids and woody but clear rhythm. Just how I like em.
Interesting top with lots of good action but not overly flamey, very plain from some angles but pops in the right light. Also tons of flecks and mineral streaks.

I prefer covers on....but a 6.9k can add the snap that's sometimes is missing from a neck Pup...
Yeah me too Sct13,the used mule was a naked one so I just put it in as is. I think the black coils give it a slightly mean look tho. The low wind of the pup made a very noticeable difference to my ears,in a good way. It's like it unblocked the guitars nose in the rhythm position. Honks like an angry goose on the middle setting.

Love that guitar.....interesting on the neck pup output. Another vendor sells a copy of those pickups wound by Fralin and outputs on the set are about identical...both in the high 7's.
