Here you go. Sex Pistols Hawaiian shirt+neon sneakers.

I DESTROYED this place----

Mommy/booker kept crying" TOO LOUD."
Nice-band's family huffed and walked out" They STINK."
Soundguy bubbled" Who do they think they are?"

EAT FUZZ. I play for the imps/angels.Humans=fodder.

Guess what? I'm invited back there on July 29. MOMMY/BOOKER has a "crush" on my half-dead bassist-she books FEZZ so she can "moon-eye" Tommy Red Flop.........I ALWAYS WIN! I'm wearing my pink FEZZ shirt under Pistols shirt-SUE ME!

Hey Fezzi your shoes look dark.

I went looking for the neon yellow ones I've seen guys wearing, to show you what I mean....and all the pics are chicks. :laugh2:
...I think that says more than I did. :laugh2:

M, I'd wear them. The fact that I still want to play R+R at 51 shows I'm "cracked." I get to throw FUZZ at 5-35 people at a shot. I actually have 100 "fans." I have zero respect for humanity 2017. This is beyond silly EVERYBODY has a "voice." I want "martial law." We deserve it. The freaks have been "freaked."

<--- See avatar. I'll be 60 in a couple months.

Sometimes the jeans are darker, even washed black. I'll wear black sneakers (don't give a FF what you think, when I stand for 4+ hours, I wanna be comfortable) or, a nice pair of "easy on the feet" black shoes.

Maybe I'll put a light button down shirt (unbuttoned, of course) over top of the tee shirt, with sleeves rolled up to mid-forarm.

This is my 'look' at the last gig. Missus suggested I wear that shirt. Good news is it fits again. Guys who develop a pot; never wear the skinny clothes of old if they don't fit. I haven't worn that shirt in years.

it would seem 50-60 year olds are the biggest wearers of Converse/Chuck Taylors these days.

I see them when I'm out...they're usually bright colors too.

My own dad has like 2 pairs, also bright colors. Makes no sense to me. :laugh2:

60 years old in neon yellow shoes. :laugh2:

I suspect my generation is going to end up curmudgeonly because we see our parents still acting like teenagers. It's sort of embarrassing. I miss my Grandparents. Right or wrong they acted their age.

I mean I get it, at 60 wtf cares what someone else thinks about anything. So wear the neon shoes and be happy. But it's just bizarre.
Hey now I'm only 42! And I like my chucks! I have them in glow in the dark zebra, black with flames, American flag, and yes my favorites are my banana yellow chucks, which my wife hates. Maybe that's why I like them so much!

It doesn't matter what anyone wears. The only time people remember what one wears is when it makes an impression, good or bad.

Please no tennis shoes or sneakers of any type, sheesh. Converse are cool when you're a teenaged punk, Vans and other "skate" shoes maybe until your mid to late 20s or so. When you become a man you wear some nice boots made out of something that was once alive, there are plenty of options for any style or genre.

I wear Converse all the time when not at work, I have them in all shapes and colours (I even have converse sandals and flipflops - but they never leave the house :naughty:). Wouldn`t be seen in anything else and I am most definatly not exotic by doing so. :D (at work I have my Italian leather shoes.)

Grew up poor, no way could my parents afford converse or chucks for us.

Never owned a pair. Ever.

I still am kinda pissed about it actually, like a part of growing up that I missed out on. :laugh2:

Your not missing anything....When I was stationed in S. Korea, the big fasion statement was "reebok" and "Britania" Jeans ....a few other labels I cant quite remember ...That stuff was expensive and there was no way my mom could afford reebok's or whatever...I felt I missed out on being fashion popular.....(I grew up marginally poor but went to school with upper middle class kids) .....Anyway .....I got over seas and the fist time I got to go shopping I saw Reeboks for $1 a pair....Britania Jeans were $2 a pair ....and so on.....Sure they were factory cutouts ...or factory seconds.....I saw the Korean Guitar Factory ....at the time there was just the one....and they were making Epiphone ...(which is why I don't own one)

These companies are selling a bill of goods ....I was relieved that I didn't miss out on fashion.....I realized they were all fools....

But then again.... I buy Gibson......LOL ....

A very valid question OP, equally as valid as "it doesn't really matter"! Im 45 and working at keeping trim (I'm been told I'm lucky for looking younger), and I go for either navy or maroon chucks or worn black seude Chelsea boots (must not be shiny), fitted black or grey jeans must not be too new or super tight, and a fitted black, deisel blue or charcoal grey long sleeve T (with or without ol' pappy buttons) with sleeves rolled up to mid forearms and a black leather bracelet on either wrist. If I'm feeling good about myself I use a designer fitted worn faded black t shirt with a deep neck and edges strategically worn. We do melodic alt rock. I find that if I stray too far from my formula I end up thinking a little too much about what I must look like up there. Apologies, I can't figure out how to insert images AFTER the text, I don't wanna seem like a raging megalomaniac.

I haven't been on a stage of any kind in many years. I still don't own a single pair of shorts, they're just not my thing. It takes an extreme amount of swagger to make shorts look cool, some guys got it like that though. I do admit I have no idea how old Chris was at the time of this picture.

Jeans & T-shirt.
I don't believe my old 'spandex' look would be appreciated any more with the belly I have put so much work into realising over the thirty-odd years since I was last on stage (...with a guitar).
