Yesterday I bought an Ovation Celebrity and it's a great guitar. It plays and feels amazing, almost like an electric guitar. However, the intonation, particularly the high E string is not the greatest. Being an acoustic, the intonation is not as easily adjusted as an electric. Around these parts, there aren't really any guitar techs and the Long and McQuade doesn't do the greatest of jobs. How might I go about doing this myself? It's really only one string that is an issue. Also, I bought Silk and Steel strings and put those on it, and I think they may be a lighter gauge, could this affect the intonation?
