Orville by GIBSON Explorer. I believe this is a 1991 or 1992 model. It features Gibson 57 Classic PU's and Gibson Hardware. The body is multiple pieces of Korina but are matched well. This is a nice, solid guitar. A definite step above the Epiphones (I've had them too). There are two holes which the previous owner drilled and filled through the treble PU area(4th pic).. I did not do this and it was not disclosed when I purchased the axe. It will come in its original gig bag with the original speed knobs.
The remnants of small logo are painted on the PG. Most of it has scraped off, but I did not work real hard to remove it.
I was hoping this guitar would find its way in to my starting rotation, but it has not. Someone considering an import would love this thing.
No trades at this time. I am already reducing the price a good bit from what I paid for it. Thank you.
