Probably a customshop Les Paul Classic, meaning it has atypical paint or hardware.
At 1425 GBP, its not an amazing deal.
Real Gibson yes.
A Classic wouldn't have speed knobs.
A 1997 Classic wouldn't have Grovers.
A Standard would have the speedknobs but not such a serial number.
The plot thickens...

I'll take a guess: 1997 Les Paul Standard Custom Shop.
Pickups might be the original ones, might be missing the covers.
Again, the serial suggests that it would be a 2009 or 1999 '57 Reissue, which it's not.
