Looks real - I'd guess a Classic with that serial number.

Real Gibson, but not a '57 Reissue I think

Need pictures from under both pickups.

This is hard. Im not sure what it is but its not an R7.
Probably a customshop Les Paul Classic, meaning it has atypical paint or hardware.
At 1425 GBP, its not an amazing deal.

Real Gibson yes.
A Classic wouldn't have speed knobs.
A 1997 Classic wouldn't have Grovers.
A Standard would have the speedknobs but not such a serial number.

The plot thickens...

Edit:
I'll take a guess: 1997 Les Paul Standard Custom Shop.
Pickups might be the original ones, might be missing the covers.
Again, the serial suggests that it would be a 2009 or 1999 '57 Reissue, which it's not.

This is a Les Paul Classic Model. Probably 1997.

Custom shop logo gives it away imo... 1997 custom shop standard (not a classic, not a RI)

I agree with Ozzy, it looks like a CS standard.

Looks real. Also looks like the intonation of the g string is going to be REALLY sharp!

A Classic wouldn't have speed knobs.

Maybe the previous owner just switched them because they liked speed knobs?

I swapped the speed knobs off of my LP, this guy could simply have gone in the opposite direction.

The Gibson writing doesn't look right,

wrong

the tuners don't seem to be lined up correctly,

wrong

the speed knobs,

uhu??

So yes you have no clue where you are talking about.

If you say something like: "Im no expert so dont take my word for it, but it might be a fake" .... no problem man!

But if you say "fake" without giving any arguments.... you're not helping, so yeah Effoff.
