Not the OP but i dig mine alot. The neck is quite beefy biggest ive played. Bigger then a normal 50s and bigger then my 2014 Traditional 59 neck profile. Im swapping the dog ear for a SD antiquity. This one can be a bit dark

I am really liking it a lot. It plays well and stays in tune good. Actually intonation is very close. Close enough for rock and roll. Being the tweaker that I am I am thinking really hard about wiring and a pickup BUT it really does not need that to shine. I don't think you will be disappointed if you get a good one.

They are definitely amazing as-is! I’m leaving one of mine stock.

What is the one on the left!? I’ve been wanting a black Jr DC!
That is a luthier built DC jr by @LtDave32 and his brand Desert Star Guitars..... basically a 1958 model with a soapbar P90 instead of a dog ear. Dave builds awesome guitars for a lot less than you might think

Something to be said for simplicity - 2 knobs, 1 P-90, plug in and play. Modeling? No thanks. What are you modeling? Good tone? Just follow the recipe above and you got it. Especially with a Marshall Bluesbreaker or a Class 5. Keepin it real by keepin it simple.
