Orange PPC112 or Avatar 1x12 cab for my EVH 5150 III 50w Head?

I currently have a Peavey 6505 MH and a EVH 5150 III 50w Head in Ivory.
I only have one cabinet, a Orange PPC112 in Black with a Celestion V30.

I want to order another cabinet so each head will have its own cab, plus then I can use my A/B box to switch between them if I want.

I was looking at the EVH 1x12 in White to go with the head, but the speaker is only 30w, not good for a 50w head.

I could buy another Orange PPC112 cab, it is a great sounding cab

OR

I could buy a White Avatar 1x12 cab with a Black grill that will match the EVH head.
I would get it closed back and with a Celestion V30 just like the Orange PPC112.

Is the Avatar 1x12 cab as good as the Orange, for me form follows function, sure the Avatar will look better, but the Orange sounds great.

Check out the Avatar 1x12 cube. I have one loaded with a 65w Creamback. Sounds huge. Very high quality cabs and great customer service. Dave and his guys are the best!

The PPC112 is a great 1x12, best one I can remember having for tone.
I did have the Avatar 1x12 a long time ago, but I can't remember it.
I almost pulled the trigger on a Rockerverb 50 MkIII, but in the end the lighter weight EVH 5150 III 50w won out.
I know I would have loved the Orange.

I really like the EVH the more I use it.
The little Peavey is good, but the EVH just takes that tone and opens it up.

I was researching the Avatar and orange cabs, the Avatar weighs about 12-13lbs more than the Orange.

Also, I have a Gift Certificate for the place where the Orange is that will cover the total purchase, I would have to pay for the Avatar.

Avatar tied in the overall category.

If it was an either/or, I'd be hard pressed to answer.

Since you already have that one beautiful PPC, I'd have to vote to get a match.
You never know when that stadium gig will call and you'd be ready with a beautiful stack.

The only reason I considered the Avatar was because I could get it in white to match the EVH head, but no big deal.
