Opinions on black binding?

How do you guys think a white Gibson Les Paul Custom with gold hardware would look with triple black binding instead of the cream? Heres an example of what triple black binding looks like.

On a White Les Paul w/ Gold Hardware? Not really. (In my opinion)

It just depends on the color.

I personally think it would look sweet. The black binding would blend right in with the ebony fretboard, black pickguard, and black tone knobs. And I think it would really make the white finish pop.

Most Les Paul recording models had black binding,but a few had the regular Les Paul custom binding as well.

It looks nice on a white Les Paul but I dont think I'd be much of a fan of it after the guitar started to turn that cream color.

Solid black binding and black metal would be cool.... I think it would look great down the road when it yellowed too...
