Good evening all, could I trouble you fine folk more knowledgable than myself on your opinion of this guitar

clickity click >>> Epiphone Gibson Japan Les Paul Fujigen long tenon(440 (eBay item 180655967714 end time 29-Apr-11 22:04:57 AEST) : Musical Instruments

Epiphone Les Paul, Fugijen made, long tenon, looks like a one piece back, one piece neck, two piece solid maple plain top. Frets in good condition. Is that an 18 degree headstock? Fretboard looks a little light, is that a reason for concern? Any idea on the finish?
Serial number is 110306, does that make it a 1991?
Seems to check all the right boxes, with an electronics and pickup upgrade it could be a great guitar.
Although I don't know much about the MIJ Epis, so I'm looking for the opinions of people that do, also has anyone got any experience dealing with meestursparkle, do you think that's a fair price?
Cheers, Mont.

Very nice, i'd say 2 piece back center seem, There was no epi Japan in 91 making these les pauls just Orville. (although I could be wrong), so iwould say 2001.
Looks very nice but with shipping your looking over 1000 which is a bit pricey.

I'd have a little chat with JDB if I were you. The price, I think, is a bit high.

:thumb:Cheers Wizz, last thing I want is to be responable for a damaged git.

I have a mountain of packaging in the shed, the more I can get rid of the better:D

No don't use them, too long for aus post. The jauce ones are the go.

The smaller box inside came from Wulf so that'll be a one off. If it comes to it a can always chop the Rinkya boxes down.

Why, did you get in trouble?

could be just me, but that seems a rather lofty price as well. man, you could get very lucky and pick up a Gibby for several hundred more. I got lucky with mine.

the production of these models started in about 1998, near the end of the Orville production.

The first sentence in the seller's description reads: "This is a 2001 Epiphone Japan Les Paul made in the Fujigen factory."

prolly a 2001 :hmm: ..................
