Aww hell, all that need was some super glue and a band aid.........

:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

Seriously though, that sucks dude. Is that your right hand index finger? and are you right handed? Maybe we'll be able to catch up to your build's now:naughty: :laugh2:

Don't let that thing get infected!

Wow, great job Billy (with the guitar, that is...not the finger)! That guitar is gorgeous! I've been thinking of doing a one pickup guitar like that, ever since I saw a pic of Gibson's gold top version, and now I want to do it even more. And good luck with the finger...that looks nasty.

billy - wow, how much has that finger slowed you down???
doesn't seem to be slowing you down to much, but ouch!!!
also, how exactly did you do that (i don't want to make the same mistake)?
i did something like that to my thumb with a dull chisel once, but that was my fault.
i learned my lesson (always work with very sharp chisels or they tend to tear and jump).
cheers . . .

The ragged margins lead me to bet on spinning saw blade-also, location on top of finger. Just my guess. O'L

I guess my number hasn't been called yet, I've been using my 4" grinder for years without one, often with those same disc's. I'm talking day in and day out The most I ever got was just a burn. Maybe I ought to put my guard back on if I can find it. I just hate the guards cause for me it seems they make the grinder 40% useless.

Thanks for Posting!! evidently I've been lucky.

Man billy, those flapper disks leave nasty stuff in your cuts, any fiberglass from the top of the disk splinter off in the cut? Just asking cause we use those all the time on aluminum, without guards, and I've been bit a coupe times, not like that though!
