Yesterday. My area was fine but many not so lucky.

It was pretty rough around here too. A tornado touched down north of town but I don't think it did any damage.

A week ago, we all got in the hallway at 2am because of the winds and lightning around us got really bad. Tornado got about 2 miles away from us!

And the toll rose to 40 dead this morning bless them.

hard to wrap your head around that kind of damage.

At least 22 killed in N.C. alone. Unbelievable damage.

It's pretty sad stuff. 10 people died in Bertie County, which is about an hour away from me.

Just saw where the mobile home park in Raleigh that was hit so hard,a mother lost 3 children,ages 6,8,and 9. She was holding her 6 month old as they all got in a closet. She was knock out still holding the baby. The baby is in the hospital in serious condition.

Lots of sad stories coming out.
