I have a 6505 plus combo 1 by 12 that I run into another 16 ohm cab with one Celestion speaker rated at 16 ohms. Of course I set the ohms to 8 for the two. I found a guy selling a 6505 4 speaker half stack cabinet for cheap and wondering if I could put that in the mix? I think it is also 16 ohms. If I switched to the 4 ohm setting and ran the cable out of the celestion cab would that work? I'm just curious. More speakers with less volume would make me happy... and more room to add more speakers that I like! Thanks!

Try this, you need to check whether you are running in series or parallel.

Speaker Impedance

Don't run the impedence too high or low or you'll cook your amp.
