On video games.. What are some good single player WWII games

I'm downloading MOH: Allied Assault with the add-ons as I type this.

What were the other good single player WWII shooters from the past decade?

I remember one where you were a Russian soldier in Stalingrad and you were crossing a river in a boat. Once on land, they only handed you 5 bullets... no rifle

Call of Duty 2 was a good WWII game. I mean the legitimate second installment, not "Modern Warfare 2". Try the Medal of Honor games as well

Was that one of the early Medal of Honour games? Think it was on ps2.

Try hidden and dangerous 1 and 2. graphic wise they may be dated but these had good action and the mission planning part and vibe of it was very good. You can play them as an fps too but they are not as easy as call of duty. Also the brothers in arms series.

That game was AWESOME. I'm sure I'd laugh playing it now, but i spent hours as a kid playing. Bet its still around in a box somewhere at my parents.

The b17 was my favorite. Could you imagine that with todays multiplayer? You and your buds all manning guns shooting down some nazis? If this exists, someone should enlighten me.

Il Sturmovik for the Xbox was good if you like flying sims/shooters.

Call of Duty: World at War was okay.. there's alot of focus on the Russian side of the war though

Lol yup. I loved that you could change positions in the B-17. Put it on auto pilot and man the guns.
It's worth some money if you have it all in the box. Has good collector value last time I checked.
I fly around in Battlefield 2 and have tried modern stuff, but the game play is unmatched to SWOTL so far. What a shame!
I'd LOVE a multiplayer version of this old game

I still play MOH Allied Assault (Breakthrough) online in a community, and have done for over 10 years... with the same guys too! If you're ever up for trying out online gameplay, give us a shout and i'll give you the IP address. We run a freeze-tag server, and meet up at around 7:30 every night (UK time) and play until roughly 9pm

(Though it now occurs to me that depending on where you are located, the ping may be an issue )

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is the best WWII game I've ever played. It's a bit dated now, but you can still find in at gamestop for like $12.
