I would get a Priest to give the guitar an ExorcismPreaching to the choir, brother. My feelings exactly.

Plug your guitar into an amp with some gain, and with your fretting hand, run your hand up and down the back of the neck, without touching the strings or bridge with your picking hand...you might hear some static noise.I live in AZ as well, and I have never heard experienced this. I feel sort of left out! I want to be a guitar “Zeus” and shoot static lighting bolts from my fingers while playing D chords at 120db!
Others above have recommended some solutions that should fix the issue, but out of curiosity, what happens if you flip your ground switch on your amp?
It’s pretty cool that the guitar has a built in thereminI live in AZ as well, and I have never heard experienced this. I feel sort of left out! I want to be a guitar “Zeus” and shoot static lighting bolts from my fingers while playing D chords at 120db!
