The body is getting tung oiled right now. As for the neck, I am just going to put a mighty mite Strat neck on it. Compound radius. Very straight forward mashup (SG, Tele, Strat).

I googled double cut telecaster and this looks interesting...

It will basically be a bat wing. Actually, the pick guard has been the most difficult and time consuming part of the build. I have had to make a number of drawings trying to get the right shape in order to blend it into the bridge and control plate. I was originally going to have a tele shape pick guard above the strings and an SG shape below the strings. But those two shapes didn't go well together to my eyes, so I decided on just the bat wing.

And, the headstock. I was never a fan of the telecaster headstock, but I like the Stratocaster headstock.
