What's the highest number for a ‘58 GT?

Advertised with no breaks or cracks ever.

See what a well placed sticker, on the case, asking for it to be handled with care, that it’s fragile and a nice thank you will get you! Never knew Mr Rogers played a Goldtop!

Seriously nice guitar. The buyer should be pretty happy with this.

Wow! Talk about a dream guitar. I would love to own that one.

Pricey, but still makes more sense to me than 3X that much for a Burst.
And, think about it. Back then all the tone wood was old growth, so if it
was covered up likely of the very same tonal quality of a laquered burst.
Still just a LITTLE out of my price range, but nice to know they're around.

You could have had it for far less about 5 years ago when it was for sale last time.

When I looked at Drew's website two days ago it was already sold.

What was the asking price, BTW?

Yeah, would also like to know what was the asking price? Because I couldn't have afforded it anyway, being the poor f**k that I am :D

Fixed it for you. There's no such thing as "tone wood" outside of a marketing department.

Yes sir.

And I'll take a vintage GT over a burst every day of the week.

Way, way cooler, IMHO. FWIW. YMMV. etc.
