CJ - any idea how long it takes to go through the review process and get released for public use?

It depends on how many changes I make. Every time I change a detail or function I have to resubmit it for review. I'll let you know as soon as I find out. :thumb:

Great work, CJ!
You need to place a special thread to Backstage about this app. Many of us looking forward to it :dude:

Well, we made it back to the barn after a relatively easy drive down the Va. mountains. It is, as always good to see the MLP crew in full effect and we are already looking forward to the Fall Philly show. Thanks to Artie, Leo and Victor for their tireless efforts to make sure a great booth is always present. Glad to see BCR Gregory and as usual, he was mighty handsome in those tight jeans. All hail the 80's we say! Matt and Bill represented in high fashion in the MSSC booth and looked like they killed a minibar or two. Both are peerless in their professions. Met a couple of new guys and they were quite pleasant chaps- my apologies for my failing memory with names and finally, thanks once again to BB for the crooked orbital socket- it was a great weekend to be had by all! :dude:

Okay, I admit this is a little to the left of bizarre, but someone thought this was a good idea.
A Doublecut 1956 Junior. One interesting note, it had what appeared to be a 1952 speed knob.

Even more bizarre was how he poopoo'd my offer and Greg's offer. I almost doubled over laughing, when you told me he wanted to trade straight up, for a Martin and a Taylor(not one or the other). I don't know if he unloaded it or not, but I have a feeling what I told him about not expecting too much of a higher offer than what I gave him, is ringing in his ears. Everybody thinks they're sitting on a golden egg :laugh2:

What did he think it was worth?

What did he think it was worth?

Well, like I said before, he was trying to get another vendor to trade him outright for a Martin and a Taylor. Myself and others tried politely to explain to him that modifications like a respray with amber over the original finish, a second cutaway gouged out of the body, overspray on the pickguard(which at one point had a huge sticker on it), incorrect studs, incorrect tailpiece, mismatched knobs, changed tuners, and strap buttons being moved, are actually things that devalue a vintage piece. But he knew better

Ok, so here's a pictorial overview of the show, from my perspective

The MLP booth on Friday, loading day

The three guitars on the far left had to be stowed away, because we ran out of table space lol

I promised Vic Dapra that I would have a copy of his book, Burst Believers, out for other forum members to check out and also have anyone listed in the book, sign it. It was a pretty big hit with the crowd

I thought it was a cool idea to cover the main tables with pink velour, like a vintage Lifton case

Everybody's favorite amp at the show, was my Silver Jubilee. We later used the Orange 4x12 cab, because it sounded so much better

I also brought some other vintage Epiphone, Silvertone, and Fender amps, for test rides

I also had a varied assortment of rare and vintage Gibson and Lifton cases

The beauties all standing tall

Another dealer brought this 80's Les Paul by, for us to check out. I called it, "The Firebird Burst", because it resembled the hood of a Firebird. I know Artie loved this one

Matt's friend Lou brought this cool 78 Kalamazoo made beauty by for display

My SGLou/Bartlett replica, sporting a 59 PAF in the neck, a 60 PAF in the bridge, and MSSC aged top hats. Since the show, I've also changed the rings and pickguard to Tom Bartlett's incredible new butyrate pieces

I even had some solid color LPs out

Our own SuperMod, BB, cheesing it up on the Silver Jubilee cab, which became the demo chair du jour

Saturday, there was a pretty nice sized crowd. Our booth had it all, from Historic Juniors, Norlins, 3-pickup Classics, Heritage Elite-80, all the way to modern pieces

The final incarnation of the test rig

We had a bunch of goldtops, of all flavors. Lefties, Norlin Deluxes, R6's, R7's, and even the Lynyrd Skynyrd 30th anniversary

My TV Yellow Doublecuts. Ol' Rusty on the left is a 59 Junior and the pristine one on the right is a 60 Special, that used to be fellow forum member Hot Brit's old guitar. I did a last minute trade with that one for a 55 Junior, because I just couldn't bond with the thin neck

My 69 Deluxe with the unspeakable humbuckers

My 69/59 Burst Conversion sitting pretty in a Stinger case. She is sporting a 58 PAF in the neck and the super honking 57 PAF in the bridge. She too, got a set of Bartlett butyrate rings, pickguard, and MSSC age top hats, when I got home

The trans purple Les Paul Acoustic I got from the crazy Grinning Elk boys, Ray and Lee

Replica of Eric Clapton's Fool SG in a rare Gibson Artist Series Sorrento case

My 72 Twin Reverb

My 62 Epiphone EA-35T 18 Watter

Did I mention the trip hazard behind the tables?

Hey, look, Ozzy made an appearance!

L-R Bill M from Electric City Pickups, CJ, BB, Matt from Martin Six String Customs, and LedZepFan

How not to plastic wrap guitars to be shipped to Japan. This was very comical to watch

Here's the 55 Junior I got, when I traded the 60 Special

Um, can you tell this 56 Les Paul had a bigsby on it, at one point?

A gorgeous 53 Les Paul Conversion that was originally a goldtop, but refinished Wine Red. It had a great looking three piece top

This 55 Les Paul had some super Mojo

You want your Tele bodies? I got ya Tele Bodies, right here!

One of the Japanese dealers had a ton of loaded cases to be shipped, and a velvet Elvis painting

No shortage of 2013 models at the show

A stripped top 56 Les Paul

I never knew Martin Guitars made pointy guitars in the 80's

I was jonesing for the 83 Custom with the Kahler, but I held off

There were even used 2013 Historics to be found, and the prices weren't too bad

How about a half-V?

A very strange Gibson prototype with a firebird minihum and a full sized humbucker with no holes

Beautiful 1960 Burst at Jim Singleton's booth

He also had a 54 Goldtop

I really wanted this 1972 reissue of a 54 Custom, but I couldn't work out the right deal

Vintage stacks

Lots of vintage Juniors and Specials this time, unlike the last show

Ray and Lee's booth. They were schmoozing it up and big pimping all weekend

Something for everyone

A 55 Goldtop that claimed to never have been refinished. No checking whatsoever

The smile on BB's face says it all, while playing Ol' Rusty through the Jubilee

CJ brushing up on his classic Bursts

LedZepFan playing Ol' Rusty

Eric Ernest signing my copy of Burst Believers, and yours truly

BCRGreg signing my copy of Burst Believers, with an attitude!

Joe Mass signing my copy of Burst Believers and DelawareGold with his copy in tow

Joe Menza signing my copy of Burst Believers

Jim Singleton signing my copy of Burst Believers

What a crew. L-R Me, Sam, Vic, Greg, CJ, BB, Lou, and Matt

Greg returned my 67 Tele, after a refret and some other work. She plays like butta now

Also got my 59 five latch Cali Girl case back, after some repair work
