The third annual Fall Philly Guitar Show Members Meet is over,
and what a great time we had. A great turn out, great Member
support, Fabulous Guitars.
(I was told many times that we had the best Booth at the Show.)
MyLesPaul thanks everyone who participated, but I have to add…
Matt and Dave of Martin Six String Custom, outstanding support
from you. They saw we were going to be extremely short of space
with the huge turnout. They paid for us to have a third table! Thank you.
Even with the extra table, my apologies to Matt (WeirdOtis) and to
JPPR8, there just wasn’t any room left to display their guitars.
Leo (floyd84) brought a lot of really great guitars.
(He had to rent a big van to get them all to the show!)
He didn’t complain when we used up all his guitar stands, and made
him set up on the floor. He entertained the crowds with his guitar
playing. MyLesPaul can’t thank him enough.
Frank Pine, what can I say? You are the Fall Philly Guitar Show.
For the third year now, Frank has held Center Stage at the Members
Meet. Debuting the ‘59 Burst and the Octave Junior this year.
How much did Mr. Pine contribute? His two Murphy Aged Brazilian
Historics, which would have stolen the show any other year, didn’t
even get a mention this year. That was the depth of great guitars at
the MyLesPaul Booth! Thanks again, Frank.
fjminor was sanding down Brazilian Rosewood and other types of
fretboards so we could smell the difference. It was a real clinic,
a hands on wood demonstration.
Guitar Guru’s Tom Bartlett, Eric Ernest, MapleFlame, BCRGreg,
(I know I’m forgetting some, my apologies.)
sharing their knowledge, and answering questions. Thank you all for
your support!
My Grandson CJ, we could not have done this without him. Setting up,
tearing down, hauling gear and guitars, running errands, watching over
the Booth. He was working his butt off while we were having a good time.
Thank you, CJ. Great Job!
Thanks again to everyone that helped with the show, and all the Members
that came out to support us. You all make MyLesPaul, number one. :thumb:

Looks like I missed the greatest MLP meet so far.

Well that's a bummer. It would have been an absolute honor to meet all of you (again for some).

Jesse Noah all the way from CA, Mapleflame, Tom Bartlett, and Bonamassa. Wow! I screwed the pooch by missing this one.

Hopefully, some of you will make it to the spring show. I won't miss another after this.

What a BLAST!!! I had a great time. Sorry I didnt bring my R9. I had to work and didnt want to a. leave it in the car or b. bring it into the dealership. It doesnt hold a candle to Franks stuff anyway. It was great to see everyone and meet some new people. Dinner with Jimmy Wallace and Matt and Dave and Tom and Frank and just about everbody was fantastic. Felt bad Jimmy didnt finish his dinner because he was busy telling all of his great stories. Frank I cant thank you enough for letting me play the burst. I never thought I would ever have an oppurtunity to do so, even though my playing didnt do it justice! Also thanks for sharing all of your Gold Tops you are a true gentleman, thank you. Greg I will stopping by like EVERYDAY til you finish that junior(with REAL frets of course). Arte ALWAYS a pleasure to talk with you. Already looking forward to next year. Thanks everybody!!

This year's show was the best one yet. Alot of really cool guitars, interesting people, and an all around good time. There seemed to be a good turnout from members, and the guitars in the booth were great. I would like to say thank you to Frank Pine. It's not every day that someone is willing to share a true Burst with you. He was very generous for letting us all take pictures, and play that awesome guitar. Artie got some great video of BCR Greg, and a very talented young guy he brought with him playing the burst. That SG you brought was a real beast to Greg. And, I finally got to see some of Gregs headstock repair work that was just amazing. It was great talking to everyone, and it was nice meet the Martin6String guys. They have some great stuff for sale, and had a great looking display at their booth. A real class act. The Grinning Elk booth was was a double booth this year, so as always they put on a really nice display. And Vic, it was it was great to finally have time to stand around and shoot the breeze for a while. Like I said, probably the best year yet.

Wow! What can I say...Philly was such a great show this year and major kudos go to Artie and CJ for their labor of love in making this show such a huge success.

Dave and I very much enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new friends here on MLP. Your friendship, support and patronage of our business means everything to us.

+1 :dude::dude::dude:

Wow!!!! Looks like a missed a lot. Due to family obligations I had to leave WAY too early.
It was great seeing Artie & Frank again. Franks's guitars are just incredible (especially the burst).
It was good to meet you Steve (Mapleflame) too. Just too bad I didn't have enough time to meet all the other forum bros and hang longer.
Hopefully will do so in summer philly.:thumb:

Great job again Artie.:applause::applause:

I had a blast as usual. I wish I could have spent more time hanging out with you guys, but I was pretty tied up at my booth. Maybe next year I'll try to get a booth close to you guys so I hang out more. There were just so many beautiful guitars displayed at the MLP booth and I want to thank Artie, Victor and everyone for letting put my old beat up SG out to display as it looked out of place surrounded by so many beautiful and awsome Pauls. It is an honor and a privilege to be a MLP member and to be associated with each and every one of you.

You could have. They were loaded in the Paul with the uncovered double cream in the bridge. That pic of me looks like I was startled or something was wrong with me;)
