All 3 days? How does one get in on Friday? Will those of us in the MLP booth be able to get in on that day?

Hey Frank,

You can buy a VIP pass (forget the cost possibly $250-$300ish). This allows access during dealer set up on Friday. Many dealers/collectors who come to buy will do this instead of buying a booth. In my case, I get in with a dealer pass as I help a friend with his booth. Hope to see you there.:dude:

As far as the MLP booth goes, not sure how many dealer passes are given with that booth. Maybe Artie knows!!!!

Larry (Corsa) will be manning our booth at this show. Should be a good time.

That's awesome. Hope to see him there... I really dig his Youtube videos and of course his burst.

I don't want this to be taken as some sly sales pitch, so I'll be really vague about details -

I have a MIM Fender that I'd like to sell. I've never been to one of these shows. Is it an appropriate place to try to sell/trade it? Too low end of an instrument? What's the process? Just carry it around with me and talk to folks there?

Thanks, and I hope I didn't bend any rules with this post. I'm just looking for advice. I actually DON'T want to sell this online, but would prefer to do so in person.

Thanks! So no "dealer fees" or booths required? Is a MIM Fender going to be of any interest there or are these shows more about higher end instruments?

Either way, I'm totally stoked to check it out!

Anyone can walk in off the street with an instrument they want to sell or trade. There are dealer fees for merchants that wish to have a booth. However, there will be a MLP booth for display purposes only, no deals of any sort will be made there.

Your best bet is to bring your guitar, put a for sale sign on the case, and walk around. You'll be hit up every 2 seconds by people asking, "what you got there?".

Nice! That sounds great. I really appreciate the advice and I'm totally stoked to check out this show! Photos of previous years look impressive.
