Oh yeah, the Fall Philly Show thread has arrived!!

This thread has proven time and time again to be a great deal of fun in itself, right along with the show.

I'll be there, I've already booked non-refundable air fare.

We're booked (Terri and I) into the nearby Homewood Suites, where a lot of show folk are staying. I reckon they are offering a "show special" of a reduced rate. They do every year.

Great prices and beautiful suites.

Google Audubon Homewood for the number.

I went to the Nashville show. It was in Franklin back in May (I think). Far, far smaller than Philly. And pretty congested. Still cool to see all the guitars.

I've been to them in Santa Monica, Pasadena and Orange County, CA.

They pale in comparison to the Fall Philly. It's the one to make.

Not just that, but there's a buzz goin' at the MLP booth. At any given time, you don't know who's going to pop in. That's what it's all about; online friends meeting up, online acquaintances becoming friends.

Hell, that wrasslin', chair bashin', spit shoutin' Fezziwig and I were as thick as thieves, two years running.

It's not just a great guitar show. It's the MLP booth, and this is MLP. You guys, every one of you are what make it happen, what make it great.

or more of paying a premium for a guitar but you can see it feel it play it and accept paying the premium as it will be a superior item in most cases...

i would like to try and get up there and if dave is correct in his opinion i hope to be thrilled as i have never seen any shows offered within a days drive from my home...any info would be appreciated

i did watch a few uTubes from past shows and looked like a blast

It's a good show. Not as big as it used to be, but still worth the effort.

And OMG, you might meet some of the crazy sonofabitch MLPer's in the flesh.

A couple of our MLP friends walked out of there with some great deals.

As with everything, cash is king. I've seen our MLP member AXE haggle his way into a vintage LP Special. They will deal.

I think our Mod Victor walked away with something good too..

There are deals to be had at the show. Of course, it all depends on what you're looking for, but deals are there.

And the MLP booth is the main hub! Members and non members alike use the booth as a resource.

networking going on between members looking for
that hard to find gear. Great point!
