Well, couldn't resist. My Black 65 came today, and all I can say is, wow, what a pedal. I just look at the pedals for what they are, pedals. A way to add flavor to my tone, or as a boost, etc... Some people say it doesn't sound like the amp it represents, but I don't look at it that way at all. I plug in, tweak, then form an opinion. I either like it and can use it, or I don't like it and won't use it. Wampler has become my #1 as far as pedals go. Absolutely incredible through my Fender 57' Twin and a Les Paul. I must say, they do wonders for my Strats and Teles as well. I'm pretty much set now. Got a few Wampler pedals (Ecstasy, Plextortion, Pinnacle, Plexidrive & Black 65) that I know I can use. There are others that I want, but really don't know if I need them. I think I'll just enjoy and go back to playing more than buying. If you are thinking about Wampler, but are not sure if they are worth the money, well, for what it's worth, I have not one single regret. In fact, I feel like it was money well spent and they did wonders for my tone. I'm stoked !!! :dude:

I love Wampler! The Black '65 is next on my list from Wampler. The Paisley is the best overdrive I've ever heard and used. It's my main overdrive. Brian makes great pedals and is my favorite pedal builder.
