did some trading last night and ended up with a very cool 1969 SG spl...narrow nut but it doesn't bother me ,makes thumb over chords easy,p 90s are nice and spanky..not a case queen,players grade guitar ..my new old blues machine..pics to come , have to get my son to do that for old dad.my first SG. happy birthday to me!

Can't wait to see the pics.
My first Gibson was a new leftover '68 Special that I purchased in '69.
Wish I hadn't sold it.
After seeing Santana at Woodstock (the film, not live) I had to have one.

my son will help me with the pics tomorrow. really enjoying this guitar now that I have it set up with my strings etc. did the fret dr. thing , polished the frets a little , shined it up and its gig ready.been playing it thru my different amps ,sound great on all of them . love combining the tremolux with the vibrolux or my mesa ta 15/dr z cab rig. big sound! this thing is fun..jk
