NVGD 1963 Es345

I came across a player grade 1963 es345 in cherry, No original parts except the wiring harness and beat up knobs. Original finish with alot of player wear and checking, but no breaks..

so i pulled the trigger, And she arrived last week .

I removed and safety put away the Varitone harness and installed a new es335 Wiring Harness.

She's feels and sounds amazing... Neck shape is similar to my 56/59 LP conversion but with less of a D shape..

Install these parts for now, while i hunt era correct parts: Throbak 101 LTD Pickups, Pigtail ABR, Repo Knobs, 60's TP & 50's Kulson Tuners..

Looks very awesome! Yup, guitars of that age in near perfect original condition don't show up every day. I'll bet even unplugged it sounds great.

1963 gold thumb wheel
1964ish pat# humbucker with PE wire and short A2 mag, 8.4 ohms, bridge position
1965ish pat# humbucker with short A2 mag, 7.3 ohms, neck position
Late 50's-early 60's nickel kluson
After market es335 harness kit
Montreux Time machine black reflector knobs

Need to find some correct worn gold pickup covers..

The sound ? Ohh the sound.. Just amazing.. Keeps up with my 56/59 les Paul conversion.. Sustains forever and plays like butter...

IMHO, these vinatge es345 are the most under valued vintage guitars.. Do yourself a favor and play ones of this vinatge babies if ever get a chance...
