NVGD, 1953 les Paul w/bigsby

New addition to the family,

1953 les Paul, all original except for the bigsby and added selector switch ring.. According to the previous owner the bigsby seems to have been added in the late '50's. Original tailpiece stud holes are underneath the dogbone bridge. Untouched solder joints and amazing sounds P90's. Awesome feeling '50's feeling neck. Drove to NJ yesterday and picked her up from a member, this is the second deal I had with the seller, honest and fair... A great transaction... Thanks Rich..(chicken wing):applause:

That's a Bigsby bridge.
Can you get it to intonate?
It's compensated for a wound G.
You can often get a little closed by flipping the bridge around.

Man wonder what that top looks like with that peek a boo Flame showing thru in the cavity.

Probably a killer flame top just routinely sprayed over being that GT period :shock:

That guitar was difficult for me to part with. Couldn't have gone to a better guy. Glad to keep it in the MLP family.

Original taller speed knobs at that by the looks. That is one spankin' guitar!
