It may help to understand how CA cures. It cures as quick as it can absorb H2O from the atmosphere. Thiner it is the faster it absorbs H2O. The thicker the slower it absorbs H2O.

For those of us that buy CA in bulk we use this to our advantage. For example I buy three viscosities of CA in 16 oz bottles to save money and fill smaller 2oz bottles from them. Since CA starts trying to cure as soon as the bottle is opend i need a methoud to avoid this fo as long as possible. Knowing that the dryer the enviroment the slower the cure. I store my opened 16oz bottles in the refigerator because the refrigeration process dries the air as it cools it. but don get it less than 40 degees F.

By the way in a typical hobby store or hardware store you pay$5 to $6 per oz if you buy in bulk you pay $2 per oz. i pay $32 for a 16oz bottle from starbond and I get 3 2oz refillable bottles plus a half dozen fine and half a dozen extra fine capilary nozzels per 16oz bottles I buy at no extra cost.
