Yeah I think so, I could probably dig it too, it's the chrome pickups and rings that really complete the look, thankfully the Epi version didn't have those!

I have to admit that Black Les Paul's leave me cold. Apart from the Black budokan but then again I'm biased.

I love pretty much everything else in black (I have a black Ibanez 7 string with Mirror guard, a silverburst Jackson RR wich is more black than silver, I use ot have a black RGT6EXFX)

I love trans black over quited finishes with gold hardware and zerbra buckers but plain black usually looks cheap to me on an LP.
