Ok, I'm probably late to the party, but now that I'm pretty much set as far as my LPs and amps go, I have been on a pedal tear now. I have quite a few ODs that make me happy (Fulltone, Boss, Way Huge, MXR etc..), some are great for the Marshall, some for the Fender. After doing some reading and some YouTube research, I stumbled onto Wampler. Long story short, I ended up with a few , each one I love more than the last, but my favorite is the Wampler Plexidrive through my Fender 57' Twin and my R8. Holy s*#t !! Pure sex !! It may not be for everyone, but thought I would share my thoughts. I may have to stop buying s*#t for awhile and just enjoy playing. :dude:

You can NEVER go wrong with any of Brian's pedals. He's my favorite pedal builder by far. Super nice dude and his pedals are the most authentic amp recreations in a pedal I've ever heard.

My Paisley Drive is still my main squeeze for an overdrive and I have 12+ OD's on my board. So that says something. That pedal changed my life, no joke. :laugh2: It's a perfect pedal for me.

My plans are to get a Compressor and Delay (Ego and Analog Echo) next month from him and then at Christmas get a Black '65 and a Hot Wired pedal. He has two pedals in the works I'm also drooling over, one is a Tweed 50s Fender amp in a box pedal, and a Keith Urban signature overdrive pedal. Both of which I will buy no doubt.

I'm an overdrive pedal geek though but IMO Wampler is the best guy in the biz right now.

Brian makes some awesome stuff. My first build was a Wampler "Cranked AC". Great sounding pedal. Was hoping to meet him at the Nashville NAMM this year, but I waited too long and missed the show.

Glad your diggin' his stuff. :D

I fully support the statement on the Plex-Drive - sounds great with my LP (I don't use it with my tele or strat though). I also have the Pinnacle and Super Ecstasy - both are great pedals. Wasn't realy a fan of the Analogue Echo, little to dark and flubby for my tastes. Wampler is putting out fantastic pedals, his overdrive pedals are the bomb!

I was amazed at the sounds coming out of the Ecstasy. Three in one.
Loved it so much, I bought two. It's always on.
