Similar to a Les Paul Standard, the Les Paul DC Pro features a 2 piece mahogany back, a bound AAA flame maple top, and a mahogany neck with rosewood board and trapezoid inlays. Unlike a Standard, it has single volume and tone controls and the mother of pearl crown headstock inlay. The pro model came with chrome hardware and Burstbucker Pro pickups.

This guitar has been played so there's a normal amount of light scratches on the back but, as you can see (or NOT see) in the photos, nothing serious or through the finish. The front is also pretty clean with the exception of a spot under the bridge pickup where the previous owner's pinky managed to wear right through to the bare wood (don't ask me how). You'll also notice how there's a darker area on the top where the forearm rests (although in person, it's not nearly as noticeable as in the photos). There's no wear and no damage to the finish so I'm not sure how that happened. I think it's kinda cool. If it were a Fender, they'd call it relic'd and charge another $1000. He also had it Plek'd so it plays great.

It didn't have a case when I bought it so for my asking price, I'll buy a new aftermarket LP case for it. Or I can knock 50 bucks off and I'll ship it a Gibson teardrop gig bag.
$1195 Plus shipping.

Thanks.
That’s what I’ve been saying.

I wasn’t kidding when I said I’ve seen these sell in the $1495 range. There’s one on TGP right now for $1600. I figured this would go at my original $1195. :dunno:

I've made it my New Year's resolution to put this guitar in someone else's hands.

Hi, what condition are the frets in? And does this have the stock pots and pickups (BBS)?

The frets are in really good shape. I won't say "perfect" because there are a few marks (at the 2nd fret B and G strings and 3rd fret high-E and B). Heres a photo...

The electronics are stock. When I got it, there was a Duncan JB in the bridge position. The owner said he would try to track down the original Burstbucker Pro and called me a few weeks later. I had to pay him 75 bucks for it but I disliked the JB enough to pay the ransom. It's now back to stock and sounds great.
