Notable Epiphones in 2022?

What are top new Epiphone guitars in 2022? So far I have not seen anything interesting and feel that 2022 is not as good as prior years.

We had some exceptional guitars in last couple years, here are some to name a few:
2021 - Bonamassa Lazarus, Alex Lifeson, Jared James Nichols “Old Glory”, new Slash collection,
2020 - 1957 Outfit, Bonamassa Black Beauty, many models with re-designed headstock, J200 Inspired by Gibson acoustic.

I heard that new Matt Heafy LP is coming and possibly new silverburst signature Custom, but have not noticed them in stores.

6 months in I don't see anything as interesting this year, perhaps I am missing something?

Other than the new JC Wino Custom thats about it for 2022... 2020 had many great guitars.. The 50's n 60 standards The Custom is a great guitar as well. The 59 also great guitars ..

I forgot all about those guitars !! Plus the Tv Yellow one they put out in 2020. Epiphone has done some really good guitars in the past couple years....

The Matt Heafy Origins Les Paul Custom in Ebony or White is expected at Long & McQuade in Canada September 2022.

That's the one I would consider, it looks like an interesting model.

My new Les Paul Classic has become my favorite new Epi this year. I also own the 59, a new Custom and recently sold my 50's Standard. The Classic just wants to be PLAYED, ya know?

I have to admit that my classic is also one of my favorites of the bunch too. Plus it's prob the one i have the least amount of money ivested. Even with the Gibson electronis and the 490 pups I am still way cheaper than some of my other guitars....

You have good taste! I'm not sure what it is about the Classic, but it really surprised me. I'm on the hunt for a set of used 490/498 pickups for it now.

I got this guitar brand new on GC web site during shut down in april of 2020. Something happened to it. Must of fell of the wall it has a pretty nasty half ass repair on the back of it. I paid 229 for it with an epiphone hard shell case. Repair looks worse than it really is but i figured for the money i paid... I just kept it named it " Road Rash "" and shes been a great guitar no matter what hardware and pick ups I threw at it....

You have good taste! I'm not sure what it is about the Classic, but it really surprised me. I'm on the hunt for a set of used 490/498 pickups for it now.

I have a set with the PCB harness .. I might consider getting rid of. But first I have to check out the 498 in this classic. I may have a set of 490s for sale if i like the 498

2022 isn't over yet... Bonamassa will be releasing a 335

2022 Bonamassa 335

Here is the new Bonamassa Epiphone for the year. The body shape with the point where the body joins the neck is too high and the cutaways look wrong and the colour is quite different. Looks like crap IMO
