My 77 Les Paul Custom, hand me down from my dad. He bought it in the late 80s for $100 and stuck it in a closet until I came along and broke it out. Thankfully the first owner used it a ton and gave it some beautiful wear. Can't wait to gig it for the first time very soon

That's a nice Alpine White LPC. Got any clearer pics? Love the patina on these.

Hindsight is truly 20/20. Back when in the height of the Norlin hate era, had many opportunities to buy great guitars unreasonably cheap but never did.

Wait...does that mean I should be stocking up discounted 2015 Gibsons???

Hey all-
New to the Board and a proud new owner of a 1978 Standard in Ebony.
Has the expected wear and tear you'd expect but very nice condition and other than the volume and tone knobs, she's all original. 1 previous owner- still has the warranty card in the original case. Having a hard time putting it down!

73 Custom. Dimarzio SD & PAF pickups. Aged Faber ABR. Just had the frets leveled. It sounds beastly.

1981 goldburst custom, actually traded a virtually brand new 2011 r8 for it and don't regret it for a bit!

#550. 1978 Les Paul Custom that I ordered from the factory with nickel hardware instead of the usual gold. I hadn't had it long when I replaced the black plastic with cream, the black top hats with gold speed knobs, and put a DiMarzio Super Distortion at the bridge and a DiMarzio PAF at the neck. The pictures are from 1981 and 1982. Oddly enough, I don't have any recent pictures and I currently have it stripped of hardware and in the process of replacing the original frets. When I get it back together, I'll post some pictures.

Aw crap! I get excited when I see Norlin mentioned. My apologies! Maybe I can make it up with one I just sold? It's also my avatar... 1982 30th

So... 498+1 = 499

^^^ I re-acquired the '82 30th after the guy I sold it to inquired about details because he was going to list it for sale. I missed it badly. It's a 10.3 lb'er, but it is the best LP I ever owned - including R9, R8, R7 and a couple Standards & Customs.

Maybe this'n below will take its place in my musical sensibility heart??? We'll see.

Just picked up this '74 LPC. I'll update this post when I'm done restoring it.
