Howdy and welcome.
You're going to get badgered a lot to post pics (because we love to look at LP's).
Get a photobucket account or the like, and that will make picture posting really easy.

The little icon with the mountain and the sun. Well, right click on the pic and hit copy image url. then click the mountain thing. paste the url there. and that should be it.

i do have a silly question though, at the guitar center i bout it at one sales guy told me it was tobacco burst and another told me it was desert burst and yet another told me that there was really no differences in the colors. Personally i didnt care cause i love the way it looks and plays. My question is what is the differences in the 2 colors? thanks for any info on that

Welcome to MLP. :thumb: Nice gee-tar you got there. :applause:

I don't know how many others use it but I store all my pictures right here on my MLP account. Makes posting and links much more reliable. I even post my pictures hosted here, on "other" guitar forums.

Just poke around under your "User CP" menu and you will find lots of goodies.

tobacco burst became desert burst, except desert burst is lighter colored.

Beautiful, congrats! I just picked up a standard in desert burst a little over a month ago. Still can't believe it's mine. Enjoy it... make her scream!

Not a silly question. Sometimes even the folks at Gibson get confused. I have a Honey burst (my avatar) that the person filling out the product card thought was a Desert burst, then (s)he scratched that out and put honey burst. (neck pocket says HB)
Anyway Your LP is beautiful. Congrats!

Looks like desert burst to me... my favorite. Like others have said, kind of a grey area.
Beautiful guitar. HNGD!
